An Open Water Training Schedule!

wo weeks ago on a bright and beautiful Saturday morning, Indy Aquatic Masters hosted its first ever open water practice. With thirty swimmers attending that first practice, IAM is expanding its open water training schedule. Open water training swims and events are open to all registered USMS swimmers. The IAM open water practice will be at Lake Kesslerwood. Parking will be at 7a at the
Millersville Masonic Lodge and we will walk to Ellen Knowling's dock from there. Open water event locations are noted below.
Open Water Trainings and Events scheduled:
7/30 PASS 1K/2K at Morse Reservoir - 7:30a. ($30)
8/06 Lake Kesslerwood Swim - 7:30a.
8/20 Lake Kesslerwood Swim - 7:30a.
8/28 PASS 2K/4K at Morse Reservoir - 7:30a. ($30 - $38)
9/10 Big Shoulders 5K Lake Swim in Lake Michigan (Chicago) - 8:00a. ($60-$80)

Whether you're a competive swimmer or not, join IAM for some outstanding open water swims this summer. And, if you've never done an open water swim, be sure to join us - and find a new way to enjoy your sport!
We do have some bad news to pass along. Butler will be shut down for repairs from July 30th - Aug. 26th. We will resume practices there once they are finished repairing the pool. We are looking for alternatives to help fill the practices missed. We are also working on our Fall pool schedule, so stay tuned for that. In the mean time, enjoy all that summer has to offer!
