Volunteers Needed to Assist with 4th of July Parade & Flash Mob Information

The 4th of July is just around the corner and the Town is looking for volunteers to assist with all aspects of the event including set-up, parade logistics, clean-up, and pre-parade administrative help. If you are interested in assisting us with our 7th Annual 4th of July Parade, please e-mail us at info@townofduck.com. Also, please join us as the Town hosts an "Event of a Lifetime" immediately following the parade at the Duck Town Park. We are looking for volunteers to be part of a "Flash Mob," a choreographed dance routine, that will occur as part of the post parade celebration at the Town Park. Dates for volunteer and dance practices are:
  • Volunteer Meeting: Tuesday, June 28 at 9:00 a.m. at the Duck Town Office. This is a must attend for parade volunteers.
  • Dance Practices:  Tuesday, June 14 at 10:00 a.m. at the Duck Town Park; Tuesday, June 21 at 6:00 p.m. at the Duck Town Park; and Tuesday, June 28, at 6:00 p.m. at the Duck Town Park (this last one is a must attend).  For additional information, click here.  There are three videos online so that you may practice at home and pass along to those who are interested in being part of our Flash Mob.  The videos are on the Town's YouTube Channel -- "DuckPR".

It is Time to Register to be Part of Our 7th Annual Parade!

The registration form and parade route information are all online on the 4th of July page of our website.  Whether you are planning on being in the parade, volunteering, dancing in the Flash Mob, or watching with friends and family, we are so glad that you will be part of this great annual event!
