As we continue to streamline and improve our program, we are often posed with the question; "why do people swim?" So we asked our Communications Manager Karen Gernert to tell us why she swims. Her story will be part of a IAM blog series highlighting members throughout the year, we hope you enjoy reading. Also, we have some great things planned in the coming days and weeks. • Upcoming Saturday Workout Schedule
• Cheer on your lane mates at the USMS 25K National Championship held at Morse Reservoir this Saturday (6/18). Race starts at 7a.m.
• Be the first to receive the new IAM swim cap! Sign up for either the USMS 5K & 10K Postal National Championships or the The All American Invitational being held on July 2nd.

Our First Social!
Join Indy Aquatic Masters for the first Annual Picnic and Baseball outing at Victory Field! Watch the Indianapolis Indians take on the Louisville Bats on Sunday July 10th. Picnic Starts at 12:30p in the grassy area in right field. Enjoy food and drink while you relax and watch the game starting at 2:00p. Cost is just $20 per person, and kids under 3 get in free! All of this, and you get to hang out with your lane mates... it's a win/win. To buy tickets see your coach on deck or email us your ticket request. You must purchase your tickets from us by July 7th.
