After a weekend in Canada's newest territory, Nunavut, The April Verch band will be heading straight to your neck of the woods for a few shows in July! It's been an exciting year for the AVB, including a thrilling tour in China in April and a beautiful cruise to Alaska at the beginning of June. April and the band will be filled with fun stories from the road and there is nothing like the promise of summer fun to bring out toe-tapping tunes! New AVB album just released!
The April Verch band is thrilled to annouce the release of their brand new CD, That's How We Run! The band spent early February hidden away in the hills of Asheville, North Carolina recording their latest self-produced album and can't wait to share it with you! Recorded in one big room with engineer Chris Rosser and joined by special guests, the AVB tried to capture the energy and distinctive feel of a “live string band” from days gone by. With old-time, bluegrass, and original fiddle tunes and some old country-tinged original vocals thrown into the mix - there’s a lot to look forward to on this new recording – such as appearances from Rayna Gellert, Bobby Hicks, Chris Sharp, Matt Smith, Bob Carlin, Dirk Powell and Riley Baugus.
