Making our way back to San Jose
Well, its no doubt God has been doing something here. Here we are packing up boxes ready to move in the next couple of days. As we've been doing this, it has really caused us to dive into a time of INTENSE prayer about our future and what God has for YWAM Ember Ink.
We have been in infancy stages as a ministry just learning about our surroundings and finding our feet a bit. Now that we've been shifting into yet another season of transition, we've had many opportunities presented to us regarding the future of Ember Ink. But as we prayed, we felt God give us specific direction to really plant into this city. To put a stake in the ground and have a permanent presence in San Jose.
To have that permanent presence here, we are in need of seeing a house or property released that will enable us to house staff at a low cost and possibly students that will be taking part in our Discipleship Training School (DTS). We have looked at a few options, but what we are needing is a house that has greater than 6 bedrooms or even possibly a block of flats that will be able to not only accommodate our family but also staff that are coming as early as mid-February.
We are needing to see something open up soon!! We are hoping for something that would open either before we leave for Australia (Dec 6th) or before we get back (Jan 15th), with the first option as the preferred one. We aren’t necessarily looking for rentals we are believing God to release a home to be purchased or given to the ministry of YWAM... And if it seems too big... remember that our God is the one who fed 5,000 people from five loaves of bread and two fish! :)
We have been encouraged recently as we have prayed that this is not too far-fetched and that it is a part of the puzzle as we fight to see things birthed here in the Bay Area and NOT aborted!
