We’re Going to Germany in November!
The Lord made a way for us (just Jeff & Carrie) to go for half price (round-trip from Colorado Springs to Zurich, $415 each). We've been strongly encouraged by many, including our supervisors at GEM, to go and see where we will be living and working. We hope to gain a better understanding of the work that is being done. We also hope to get a feel for the area we will be living in. We will be visiting Black Forest Academy, the school Wesley and Sophie will attend. Please pray for protection, fresh vision, and God-encounters as we go scout out the land.
Uploading Gages to Europe
We have 20% of the monthly finances we need before we can move to Germany! Thank you so much to all who have helped us get this far! At 50% we can set our move date and a number of people have said they'll begin supporting us when we reach this milestone. There are several ways you can help us. For example, you could invite us to tell our story to your life group or home fellowship, or you could invite like-minded people to your home where we can share our passion and vision for what God is going to do through us in Europe!
Ultimately, God is in control, we just need to obey and go where He leads us. For what ever reason, God uses His people to fund His purposes. God knows whom He's called to be on our financial team, we just have to give them the opportunity.
Jeff Begins eDot Project?
Decisions to Be Made
Gordon Saunders, one of the local GEM leaders, loaned us a Mac (funny, since Jeff is a PC guy!) so that Jeff can begin working on an eDot project using iMovie. Jeff will be editing and documenting a video training series for new Jesus followers in Europe. This series will train them on how to plant churches and train others to plant churches. To learn more, visit http://t4tonline.org/ This project is a great opportunity for Jeff to get his feet wet with eDOT, and will be a great asset for GEM. Currently, Jeff is a full-time contractor, but he only works 4 hours on Fridays. We're considering forfeiting those hours so that Jeff can begin working one day a week on this project. Please pray for wisdom and breakthrough in budgeting our time and finances!
