Watershed Bike Tour August 20 a BIG Success

The very first Gallinas Valley Watershed Bike Tour last August 20, 2011 was a lot of fun and very educational for all who attended. We biked From McInnis Park through Terra Linda and Santa Venetia and back to McInnies for a BBQ.

GWC gives Watershed Presentations

On August 10 GWC members collaborated with Liz Lewis of MCSTOPP to give a unique watershed lecture to the Mont Marin/San Rafael Park Neighborhood Association. This was a "two-for-one" lecture as we discussed the history and future for both Las Gallinas and Miller Creeks and their respective Watersheds. According to MM/SRPNA treasurer Rod Blouin, the lecture was very well received, and the whole board was able to get a sense of the watershed and its’ importance in our neighborhood.

Please let us know if you'd like us to give our fantastic watershed presentation to your neighborhood association or other local group!

Thanks for being a supporter!

Cheers,
