Marty's Message

Each year UW-Stevens Point selects one outstanding alumnus from each of our four colleges to honor as part of our Homecoming celebration. I always enjoy listening to their stories because they reflect on time spent at UWSP and talk about what they learned as students here. This year’s CPS honoree Jeff Polzer is another great example of how your influence can help shape our students' careers. Join me in congratulating Jeff on his success.

Efficiency Pointer

At the CPS All-College meeting, we encouraged learning a better way to tie your shoes. Here is one example of how someone on campus found a better way to do a project that impacts how we do things in the CPS. Do you know someone who has created a more efficient way at work? Let us know!

The old way of maintaining print and online versions of our UWSP catalog involved Libby Raymond entering changes twice, once for the print copy and a second time for an online version. Working with Dave Dumke in Technology Services, they designed a computer program that allows Libby to enter changes one time and automatically transfers them where they need to go!
