The Wyland Foundation invites you to spend an evening with Wyland and friends to benefit Wyland Foundation programs for children's watershed and marine wildlife education. The event will be held from 6-9 pm, Thursday, Sept. 15, at the Ocean Institute in Dana Point and feature a special presentation from Wyland and Dr. Sylvia Earle, entitled, "Oceans: The Next Ten Years." Dr. Earle, a noted oceanographer and former chief scientist for NOAA, maintains that the actions we take in the next ten years will affect the health of the oceans for the next 10,000 years. Join other special guests including comedian Jon Lovitz and author Mark Victor Hansen. Plus, a silent and live auction with thousands of dollars in savings on vacations, fine art, and dining out, and a special live musical performance by the Wyland Blues Planet Band featuring Nick-I.
