New Nonstop Service to San Francisco

Starting Tuesday, August 30, United Airlines will offer nonstop flight service to San Francisco from Will Rogers World Airport. Will Rogers currently provides direct connections to 20 airports in 18 cities.

Oklahoma City's booming bioscience industry factored into United Airlines' decision to provide new service. The Chamber helps promote new direct connections because of the importance of direct flights to our economy. Supporting these routes are critical to Oklahoma City and can result in more permanent, expanded air service in the future. Learn more.

Record Setting Year for TRDC

The Chamber's Total Resource Development Campaign (TRDC) wrapped up last week with the announcement of a record $2,689,470 raised. The 2011 campaign was the Chamber's most successful to date. Records were set in every category during the three-month drive.

TRDC Co-Chairs Dick Tanenbaum, Gardner Tanenbaum Holdings, and Rhonda Hooper, Jordan Associates, led a group of more than 150 volunteers who worked with 470 companies to produce 1,117 Chamber sponsorship opportunities. Two hundred and five new companies also joined during the campaign.

The Top Producer award went to Laure Majors, Frankfurt-Short-Bruza Associates, PC. Barbara Anne DeBolt, Holiday Inn North - Quail Springs, won the Ray Ackerman Award while Rookie of the Year honors went to Jordan Jordanov, American Fidelity Group.

A special thanks goes out to all the hard-working volunteers and participating businesses who made this year's campaign a success. The programs, events and work the Chamber does for the business community would not be possible without you.
