I was absolutely overwhelmed to be asked to provide the catering for the Prime Minister's visit to Northcote College a few weeks ago. What an honour. Not only did I get a chance to meet Jacinda Adern and get a hug, but the PM and Minister Hipkins both tried my world famous (in Birkenhead) sausage rolls!!!!! What a career highlight. Thanks Highbury Butchers for making fantastic sausage meat.
Recently, Scrumptious Home Baking has provided catering for a number different events.They have ranged from a staff morning teas, a memorial service, a large family gathering and a mum providing her daughter in University halls with some nosh!
Here is some of the feedback I received:
Jane from a local business ordered morning tea for the staff:
“Thank you so much for the food yesterday it was MAGNIFICENT!! Everybody raved about how lovely it was, and the cake was just delicious - you will definitely hear from us again!"
Helen ordered a morning tea for a memorial service held locally:
"I just wanted to thank you so much for all the wonderful food that you lovingly prepared for us yesterday. Everyone loved the selection of club sandwiches, loved the savouries and the carrot cake - and the asparagus rolls were a huge success and tasted divine! At least asparagus rolls also accommodates all the various dietary choices people have these days! You may wish to consider putting them on your permanent selection list now :)"
Debbie from Whangarei ordered a selection of sweet and savoury items for her daughter in halls at Auckland University:
"I toddled back to Whangarei with the salmon filled cheese scones to sustain me on the way 😀. Such a treat! What was left over my daughter took with her to campus and she says it has been so good to have something yummy to eat, without the effort, being able to have a choice of sweet or savoury and having something to share with her flatmates."
