Hello,
I'd like to express my thanks to all of you who participated in last year's competition, whether as an entrant or a Grand Jury member.
Our Call for Entries for the 2021 TV & Film Awards is July 29, but in the meantime, I wanted to give you a review of 2020 as well as a heads-up on what we have in store for you in 2021.
Although we were not able to gather together at NAB Show in Las Vegas for the inaugural Storytellers Gala, our Winners Gallery lets you navigate your way through all of the stories that earned distinction from the Grand Jury and our Content POV features insights from a curated selection of prize-winning storytellers.
Every year, we evaluate and update our categories to stay current, and this year we have added categories for Social Justice across all of our content areas. We welcome storytelling across all platforms including all genres for all types of audiences and this year, we welcome our partner JusticeAid and the Democracy 2020 Youth Film Challenge.
Our new-for-2021 categories:
Best Social Justice Report
Social Justice Reporting
Social Justice Sports Coverage
Social Justice Documentary
Social Justice Entertainment Program
Social Justice Entertainment Special
Social Justice Promotion
Social Justice Streaming
Social Justice Student Content
Social Justice Corporate
Our online entry process makes it easier for you to submit and upload your program. Every entry is judged on its own merits, not in competition with any others in the same category.
As an award-winning member of the global creative community, your insights are valuable and I look forward to hearing from you as you participate in the 2021 competition.
I hope to see you in this April when we return to Las Vegas and NAB Show to celebrate the Storytellers Gala for 2021 at our awards ceremony on April 13th and NAB Show in Las Vegas.
