This month finds us in a time of transition. Some of us have now learned we will be working from home longer than expected. Others are adjusting to a new normal for the school year. Amid the change and adaptation, however, one thing has remained constant for us at SSM Health Foundation – St. Louis: our overwhelming gratitude for our benefactors and communities.
When we created the Urgent Response Fund to support our region’s frontline health care providers and patients during the pandemic, our communities didn’t hesitate to pitch in, even when facing their own uncertainty. That incredible generosity allows the Urgent Response Fund to continue providing support for patient programs, treatment, protective gear, employee relief, and more. Make a gift today to support the ongoing needs of SSM Health caregivers and their patients who are continuing to cope with the impact of the pandemic.
While this support has been overwhelming, we can’t say it has surprised us. Our communities have worn their spirit of courage and compassion proudly for a long time. The new SSM Health St. Louis University Hospital is a shining example of what we can accomplish through shared courage for a common good. Through everything this year has brought, we have been moved to see that our communities have remained vigilantly hopeful. To celebrate this beautiful spirit of shared hope, the theme of our 2020 Gala is HOPE BLOOMS. Like so many things in 2020, this year’s gala has been reimagined. You are invited to attend the virtual event from the comfort of your own home, enjoy dinner and wine delivered to your door, watch exclusive entertainment, and share in the inspiring stories of SSM Health cancer care workers and their patients.
