Watch our Facebook Live at Año Nuevo State Park on July 29 for an exclusive look at how California State Parks has fostered a relationship with the Amah Mutsun Tribal Band. We will talk with Tribal Chairman Val Lopez and State Parks Archeologist Mark Hylkema about Año Nuevo's Native American history and how its rich variety of natural and cultural resources helped reunite an indigenous tribe to their ancestral homeland and restore land stewardship practices.
