'Seize the Day' KickStarter!!!
|

|
The pandemic has me wishing I should have 'Seized the Day' more often than I did. I've therefore decided to create a little portable 'Seize The Day' reminder, in the form of an art-coin that I can carry around with me, featuring my Lil' Reaper character. I am launching this project via kickstarter - please take a look to see if it interests you!

The art coins are hand-designed by me. The coins can be used not only as 'Seize the Day' reminders, but also as game tokens, talismans, place markers, golf markers, good luck charms, challenge coins, decision-making coins (yes, flip 'em: heads or tails?), and memento mori!

For those not familiar with Kickstarter, it allows fans and patrons to make a small pledge towards funding a project. The pledges are collected only if the project reaches it's primary funding goals. Every pledge level has associated exclusive rewards. As more people pledge, everyone receives more rewards. Please check the project out, and see if it appeals to you. Thanks!

Most art venues are currently closed so I'm grateful to the City of Kent for including three of my paintings in their annual Summer Art Exhibition in the Kent City Hall. Exhibition can be viewed anytime the City Hall is open.

I had the honor of being invited to participate in several virtual poetry/book panels including Inside SCBWI 2020, the Texas Library Association Poetry Roundup, and Nerd Camp PA Poetry Panel (these events primarily target educators and librarians).
