My Good Samaritans
from Impact Middle East leader in Egypt
She was depressed, and she didn’t know what to do about her life problems. She was forty years old when her husband ran away with another woman and left her with three children. She found herself in despair. She spent day and night crying about her life and her children.
One night a friend brought her to our house church meeting. At first, she was not interested in the message, but she enjoyed her time with us. After several meetings, she asked the house church leader to pray for her. The entire group lifted her to the Lord in prayer.
In tears, she told the group members, "Because of your unconditional love, I would like to accept Jesus Christ as my Savior. And I am asking you to accept me as a sister among your group. I was in the middle of life’s road, and I met three kinds of people. First, I met people who wanted to steal my life. Next, I met people who didn’t really care about me. Then I met people who saw me as an unclean person. But you people accepted me with care and love. You are my Good Samaritans!”
