My inaugural President's Message
By Jennifer Mitchen, ISAHU President 2020-2021
So, what have we been up to? It seems like just yesterday we were all hunkering down at home, binging on Tiger King, hosting Zoom happy hours and learning how to order groceries online… Many of us have had to adjust our schedules, working environments and what the heck to do with our kids! My girls are 11 and 9, so luckily they are pretty self-sufficient, but now we are in the throes of making decisions on what to do about school…

INsure postponed to April 2021
By Jennifer Mitchen, ISAHU President 2020-2021
The INsure Health and Benefits Expo originally planned for April 2020, then postponed to this fall, has been postponed again to April 2021.
We always said we'd do what's best for members, sponsors, and attendees. A lot of factors played into this decision, including COVID-19, survey responses, and uncertainty about what the fall will bring.
To help people secure CE, we're working on an online 3-hour course this August. More details on that soon. In the meantime, we've developed a virtual exhibitor connection so you can meet people via LinkedIn, too.

Now is the time to contribute to ISAHU-PAC. It's going to be a busy session.
ISAHU has long been overlooked as the Experts in the field & ISAHU should be called upon first, if a Legislator has any questions regarding proposed Legislation that will impact Health Care Insurance & related Products.
Had ISAHU had been called upon regarding Senate Bill 184, ISAHU would have expressed our concerns regarding this proposed Bill. It is too late, as it has passed & the Governor has signed it into law, effective July 1, 2020. We may be able to suggest some changes in the upcoming 2021 Legislative Session.
Read more from David Berman, past ISAHU-PAC Chair, on the value and purpose of the PAC.
