CPF's Education Series will be presenting a panel discussion on strategies pediatricians can use to address racial and social inequality on Thursday, July 23 at 6 PM. Panelists include:

  • Dr. Dontal Johnson, Assistant Professor, Pediatric Medicine, Meharry Medical College
  • Dr. Lee Richardson, VA Inpatient Chief Resident, Internal Medicine-Pediatrics, Vanderbilt University Medical Center 
  • Ingrid Cockhren, Professor of Psychology, Tennessee State University, Advisor for the Vanderbilt Translational Research Department
  • Dr. Rob Lillard, Pediatric Associates of Franklin, CPF Medical Director

July 30, 6 PM
Dr. Kathy Edwards, the Sarah H. Sell and Cornelius Vanderbilt Chair in Pediatrics at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, and Dr. Ritu Banerjee, Associate Professor of Pediatrics in VUMC's Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases, will be leading a webinar presentation on July 30 at 6 PM discussing the efforts to allow children to safety return to school in the midst of the COVID pandemic and current vaccine development efforts.
