Cruise to Newport and Toledo

August 1, 2020
Meet up at Bi-Mart Parking Lot
Leaving 9:00 AM

Join the Rhody Cruisers in a long Line of Cool Cars heading North up the Coast. We will meet up with the US 101 Car Club in Waldport, then continue to Newport meeting with the Bay City Cruisers at Agate Beach.
We will cruise through Nye Beach to the Bay front and up Bay Road to Toledo, come out onto Highway 20 and head back to Newport and disperse from that point.

There are really no restaurants because of the pandemic that everyone can eat together and socialize, So people could pick and choose a Take-Out, or bring goodies from home. We will find some place to park and hang out and explore.

Just a reminder that we are practicing social distancing, please bring a mask as required.

Upcoming Cruise Ideas
Don has been busy checking out Cruise Locations.

Elkton Cruise.. 1 hr 6 min one way. Food; Arlene’s Cafe & General Store. Also to see are Fort Umpqua, city park, Butterfly Pavilion. Could park at High school, or Alfred S Tyson park.

Deadwood Cruise… 34 min one way. Can also add a cruise through Mapleton using Riverview Ave. Food; Deadwood Tavern & Grill

Toledo Cruise… 1 hr 19 min one way. Food; Main St Cafe 541-336-9150, Olalle Cafe, Twisted Snout Brewery& restaurant. Visit: Yaquina Pacific Railroad Historical Society, the Toledo History Center. The town’s Main Street offers other galleries, antique stores and shops to explore.
... PS- I also have an alternative route to Toledo- beginning at Waldport using back roads only.. longer but less travelled and very scenic.

Weekly Coffee Cruise:

Old Town Coffee is now open for inside seating. Members are getting together to have Thursday Coffee at 9:00 AM. A great time to find out what's happening.

Every Wednesday PM Cruise:
Stand-Around starts at 5:PM.

Florence Food Share. Their Donation Center will be a stop on the cruise.
... Please, Bring canned or packaged food for donation.
The last cruise was attended by many Rhody Cruisers, and new friends with their cool cars.
... We Roll Bay Street, Hwy 101, and visit the Food Share...
Then Who Knows?
Meet up at the Port parking lot at 5:00 PM to hang out and cruise.
