INSTRUCTIONS Facebook Live Streaming: we’ll normally start broadcasting about 3 to 5 minutes before the service (so 9:55–9:57) with Trevor’s prelude. Any time after that go the main Facebook page for First Presbyterian Church of Albany. Very close to the top (or maybe just by scrolling down slightly) you’ll see the video with the words “Live now” or something similar. Click on the video and it will open into a larger window and play.  So just stay on the First Pres home page, no need to go into Events or any other sub-page.
HELPFUL TIP: if you don’t see the livestream on the home page, refresh / reload your browser screen.  Don’t hesitate to call Dwight Cheu at 518.469.1544 if you have any problems.

Katharine (Katie) Myers has graduated from Binghamton University, with a BA in Applied Behavioral Analysis. She plans to complete her Dental Hygiene degree at UAlbany. She is the daughter of Leatrice (Lee) & John Myers.

A Note from Katie: While in school I experienced a two year internship learning ABA therapy that is commonly used to help children with disabilities, but can also be used in many other settings. Although that season of my life was incredibly fulfilling and memorable, I’m excited to begin a new journey by returning to my old college and completing my dental hygiene degree I began 3 years ago. To my fellow graduates, be true to your dreams/goals and most importantly CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Katie Lamar graduated this spring from SUNY Purchase. More details to come.
Opportunities
First Pres, through the Social Justice and Peacemaking Committee, has been working with the Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival. Here are opportunities for education and advocacy:
Wednesday, July 22, 6-8pm - NYSPPC 101 Workshop - RSVP here.
Looking to deepen your knowledge and understanding of the campaign, it's vision, values, and strategy? Join leaders from the NYS Poor People's Campaign for a participatory workshop where we'll dive into those topics and connect with next steps for action.
This will be a great workshop if you're new to the campaign, and an opportunity to grow your understanding and clarity around the campaign in a collective way.
