Proverbs 17:13

If anyone returns evil for good, 

evil will not depart from his house. 

Are you in a Proverbs 17:13 marriage?

When one spouse decides to tear the house down and rip the home apart, there is nothing that can be done to stop it. 

Let a man meet a she-bear robbed of her cubs 

rather than a fool in his folly. 

Proverbs 17:12

Once a fool has taken the reins and drives toward folly, disaster is predictable. 

Every happy home must have a plan to deal with the trash or evil. 

A trash can, a compactor, a bin. 

It’s foolish to simply try to limit the amount of trash your family will generate, because all families generate lots of trash. 

Healthy families generate emotional trash, moral garbage, and relational waste, but they also have a plan to take it out.

Think of today’s proverb as your first step towards getting your PhD in Family Trash. Here’s the rest of your courses:

Course 1

If your enemy is hungry, give him bread to eat, and if he is thirsty, give him water to drink, (Proverbs 25:21)
