It is very sad to announce the passing of Sr. Sahira Khider wife of Br. Kathan Arif, sister of Br. Riad Khudair and mother of Brs. Firas, Fady, Furat, and Faiz Sattar and mother of Sr. Farah Sattar. Just for everyone's information, it is a non-COVID-19 death.
"To him we belong and to him we shall return"

Salat-ul-Janaaza for Sr. Sahira will be offered at SMA mosque at 2:00 pm on Saturday, July 18th, 2020 lead by Sheikh Munir Elkassem from London InshahAllah. Burial will take place around 2:30pm at the Resurrection Cemetery on London Line, Sarnia.
The procedure for Salat will be similar to what has been in place for Friday prayers. Mosque capacity is 42 (30 brothers & 12 sisters) in the main hall. We shall be using basement area with 2m distancing in case the number of attendees exceed the limit of 42. Pre-screening questions will be asked and names with phone numbers will be recorded of the attendees for contact tracing purposes.Those who are sick or elderly above 70y and kids below 12y are recommended not to attend.
Family has specially requested for all the brothers and sisters attending the salat-ul-Janaza to attend the Quran recitation and dinner after the burial.
All community members can offer their condolences to the family in the mosque's basement after burial until 8:00 pm
Some reminders as follows:
- Bring your mask and wear it at all times
- Bring your own prayer mat
- Ensure 2m social distancing
- Use hand sanitizers at the masjid entrance
At the Cemetery the maximum limit is 50 people. Physical distancing and mask use is also required.
We ask Allah SWT to shower His Mercy mercy on Sr. Sahira and give sabr e Jameel to her family (Aameen).
