This is Project 2.2's first weekly newsletter and I've taken the liberty to name it "The Right Dosage". I believe that consumption of information similar to coffee should be paced well. Hopefully, this does justice.
I am kicking off the newsletter series with my recommended coffees, a beautifully crafted narrative on third wave cafe culture, investing in coffee brewing and finally, what's new in the specialty coffee industry.
SPOTLIGHT
I have been reviewing coffees all summer. But there are a few which emerge as winners. Here are my top 3 for the week:

WHAT'S BREWING?
If you ask anyone in the specialty coffee industry, Neeraj from Curious Life and Mithilesh from Corridor Seven are known to be legends. They know their coffees. Pretty well. But this is just the tip of the iceberg. There is a lot that goes behind the scenes. As a case-in-point, I looked at rationalising Corridor Seven's strategy from a roaster to a cafe and beyond. I have been able to elaborate it via 2 blogs in a series of many. The first one highlights why businesses need to capture the voice of the customer and the second one expands on the role of teams via a F.I.R.E.F.L.Y. model of consultative engagement.
UP YOUR GAME
Coffee is an expensive hobby. You need to time your investments to be able to get the best results. If you are new to the coffee game, I've written a blog on "Investing in coffee brewing". If you don't have the time to read this, just invest in a good coffee grinder. And thank me later.
WHAT'S NEW?
1. Curious Life has been received its shipment of Ratnagiri Estate. We may be able to see Filter Roast pretty soon.
2. Blue Tokai has updated its website with some really cool equipment including Fellow products.
3. Timemore equipment is now available on Amazon. I would recommend the scale and grinder. They also have good options for french presses and syphons, while the kettles and drippers seem like an overkill.
NEXT UP
1. If I had a million dollars, I'd invest in Beanrove (any guesses why?)
2. I have been in talks with a producer to understand the specialty space more. They have significantly changed the Indian specialty coffee space (who can that be?)
