Greetings from the farm,

One of our aims when planning what to grow next is always variety, not only for the benefits of diversity for the ecosystems, but also for a bit of interest and excitement. When deciding what goes into our weekly Boxes, we try to provide as much range as possible - keeping the season and the land's limitations in mind of course.    

Each week, as a companion to our Boxes, we share a recipe inspired by the variety of the selected produce for that week - with the intention of not only sharing ideas on how to use them but also creating different nutritious meals and snacks.

If you have any recipes or culinary ideas which make use of produce in our Boxes, please do send them through to us - we would love to feature them and try them out ourselves!

We plan to include cabbage in our next Boxes, opening a whole new door of fermented recipes like kimchi and sauerkraut  - packed with all those super probiotics! Mangetout is back, blossoming with the warmer weather, and we have a new edible wild plant that has been used by humans for literal ages; Wood Sorrel - Its sweet and sour in taste, goes wonderfully in salads to add some zestiness.  See below for a full forecast for our upcoming Boxes...
