Term 3 Program out now!

Our youth and children's program for Term 3 is out now. Take a look at all the awesome activities and events on offer for young people in the City of Gosnells, including the new Social Sisters program, Skate Jams, fun with the Soundlab Music Crew, Park Play and more.

We're also encouraging young people to join the City's youth advisory council, Young Change Makers, whose members help plan local youth projects and volunteer at our events.

The City’s Term 3 program has some new and exciting activities, including a great initiative for young women called Social Sisters.

Skate Jams are happening every day after school, with multiple sessions at each of our skate parks and, for those who love music, don’t miss the recording studio sessions at The SoundLab.

Social Sisters

Young women aged 12 – 18 can meet up to have a yarn, join in life skills workshops and enjoy arts and crafts in a new program for young women at The Castle youth centre, Thornlie. To find out more please call our Youth Services team on 9397 3133.

Skate Jams

Get down to a Skate Jam at one of our four amazing skate parks. Every day after school we have multiple sessions running with skateboards, helmets, snacks, music, and sports equipment available. Come and say hi.

Children's programs are back

Looking for ways to boost your child's confidence, improve their gross motor skills and meet other families? The City of Gosnells runs a wide variety of children's programs, for babies through to school-aged kids. Young Change Makers

Are you a young leader and want to make a real difference in your community? Why not apply to join Young Change Makers? Members of the youth advisory council take part in weekly meetings and workshops during the school term where they plan events and work on projects for local young people. Find out more by clicking the link below.

Free recording sessions

You can now book in for free recording sessions during Thursday night drop-in sessions at The SoundLab recording studio in Southern River. There are nine bookable time slots for studio use each session. Bookings must be made in person at The SoundLab and may be made a week in advance. For details, click the link below.
