As we all slowly begin to adjust to life after lockdown, we're looking for safe ways to spend time with our family and friends. Now that it's officially barbecue season, many of us are breaking out the charcoal to entertain – at a physical distance of course.

What better way to enjoy the British summer than spending time outdoors while grilling some food on the barbie.

For many, a barbecue is about cooking burgers and sausages, but this can lead to us eating more red and processed meat than we'd like — a diet that increases the risk of bowel cancer.
