Summer is in full swing! While the beautiful weather makes you want to take road trips, La Boîte interculturelle takes the opportunity to discover the magnificent landscapes of its new environment, builds regional networking and works on the development of new projects.
In June and July, La Boîte launched the Music as a tool for dialogue initiative with video clips of musicians and people from all over the world. We are proud today to share with you the results of this campaign, which had unexpected enthusiasm.
We also took advantage of these somewhat quieter moments to participate in the Global Toronto virtual conference. GT20 is a platform where voices from around the world and the music industry come together to listen, learn and thrive. Our favourite panels of this conference were No more obstacles, Ubiquity Now - International marketing and promotion, and Post-Pandemic African Music Industry.
Thanks to Small World Music for this incredible achievement and its flawless logistic!

The Music as a tool for dialogue initiative gets worldwide enthusiasm
|
|
Between June 2 and July 19, La Boîte interculturelle simultaneously broadcast on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and its website, messages on the importance of music as a tool for dialogue in the promotion of multiculturalism and the fight against racism.
In total, twenty-seven (27) video clips from Canada, Algeria, Morocco, the United States, Chile, Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, Panama, Ghana, England, Guadeloupe and Gabon were scheduled.
Today, we are happy to share with you some of the results that these capsules generated on Facebook.
- 29,192 people were reached with an engagement rate of over 7%.
- In fact, 18 of the 28 posts had a rate over 7%, and
- 8 of them had an EXCELLENT rate (over 9%)!
With such results, we can proudly say: MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

La Boîte interculturelle would like to warmly thank all those who gave so generously of their time by sharing their point of view on such an important subject.
