- Child Help (near Culpeper) is hosting weekly "Meet the Recruiter" virtual information sessions on Tuesdays until 7/28, 1-2pm. Email Nobiana Dodi at ndodi@childhelp.org to register. They seek Direct Care Staff paying $14/hour (no license required), Special Education Teachers and Registered Nurses.
- Virtual Student Federal Service is hosting an information session about their internship hiring process on Tuesday, 7/21 at 2pm. Click here to register. Use event number 199 764 6615 and password 202021. They have a large number of virtual volunteer internships in 50+ federal government agencies. There is something for everyone (who is enrolled in college during the 2020-21 school year) from Arts Administration to Cybersecurity to Program Management. The application is open until July 31 by visiting USAJOBS. The personal statement is the most important part (in addition to a good resume).

- The City of Charlottesville Downtown Job Center will be hosting a "Growth through Employment" Facebook Live discussion on Wednesday, 7/22 at 11am. Don't forget about their Virtual Job Club (on Thursdays at 11am) to get additional support with your job search!
- Valley Health is hosting weekly Ask Me Anything Virtual Open House sessions for hiring healthcare professionals in their hospitals in the Valley (over the mountain) on Wednesdays from 11am-1pm until August 12.
- Two universities are hosting virtual information sessions on Thursday, July 23: ODU is from 6-7pm and UVA's Curry School of Education is 7-8pm.
- Hiring our Heroes is hosting a Cyber/IT virtual job fair on July 24, 1-3pm.
- Mark your calendars for the VEC's "Getting Virginia Back to Work" virtual Job Fair on July 28, 1-5pm. 150+ employers from across the state will be participating. Register now to learn how it will work.
- That same week, there is a regional in-person job fair in Louisa at the County Fair Grounds (under a big tent to allow distancing) on Wednesday, July 29 from 9am-12noon! 15+ local employers from multiple industries will be recruiting.

- Here's another federal government opportunity with an application deadline of 8/2/20 - Coding It Forward seeks applicants for a remote Civic Digital Fellowship that will have a $6000 stipend (there a multiple placements in different federal agencies). You must be enrolled in school (past your first year so that you have coursework already taken) and not graduating earlier than October 2020.
