Backpack Distribution Day recap
Saturday, July 25th, we kicked off our Back To School Outreach with our first Backpack Distribution Day. Set up in the Gate and following COVID safety guidelines, parents & students were directed to individual stations where a volunteer would assist them in picking out their choice of backpacks, grade appropriate supplies and then a toy of their choosing on their way out. With help from Oly South staff, the event went smoothly and we provided supplies for 42 students. This was a good start, given all the uncertainties regarding school this year. We anticipate this number to more than double in the weeks to come, and we are prepared to meet all of those needs.
The Missions Ministry would like to thank Eminence Christian Church and Atlanta Assembly of God for their support. Also a big THANK YOU to all of you for your generous donations making all of this possible!
We would also like to extend a special thank you to our team of savvy shoppers: Linda McVey, Karen Rawlins, Diana Cline, Julie Frantz, Susan Hoblit, Janet Halsey and Laura Coleman; for shopping, sorting, bagging AND... being able to come in under budget. 😁
Blessed abundantly,
Your ACC Missions Team

Giving is a way for us to put God first in our life as an act of worship. God challenges his people to trust Him (Malachi 3:10-11) through giving. When we give God our best we trust that He will bless the rest.
Wall-mounted drop boxes have been installed for weekly tithes, offerings, and prayer requests (one at each of the main entrances). Online giving or give-by-mail remains an option.
