Neighbor, Will You Take Action for Skyway?
Here are 5️⃣ things you can do THIS WEEK to help bring more funding, power, and representation to the community we all love:
1. Sign a petition ✍️
Read the demands to King County Council to bring equity, housing stability, and economic opportunity to the Skyway community and join over 500 others in signing on at SkywayCoalition.org.

2. Give Public Comment 💬
Today at 1 p.m., King County Council will be meeting to vote on a plan that will determine Skyway's future for years to come. You can sign up to make a public comment by noon today - find out how on our blog.
3. Assemble the Team ✅
Join us for our virtual July Quarterly Meeting tonight at 7 p.m. to hear what we're up to AND to learn how to vote in our board election (which will be open for voting until 7/28). The next board will help WHCA continue to engage, inform, and advocate for this community.
4. Vote in the Primary 🗳️
There are several big primary races on our ballots, and your votes will determine who moves on to the November General Election. We have some big decisions to make by August 4, so be sure you are prepared with our handy guide.
5. Be Counted 🙌
Has your household completed the 2020 Census yet? It only takes about 10 minutes online and your answers are 100% confidential by law. Your response is critical to help tackle issues like emergency preparedness, protecting the most vulnerable, attracting new growth, affordable housing, equal representation, and funding roads in our community.
