Dear <<First Name>>

Welcome to our newsletter for July, 2020.

See below for details on new webinars and reports.

Workshops

Unfortunately, Covid-19 has had deep effects around the world and RopeLab has not escaped this.  All the face to face workshops that Richard had planned for 2020 were cancelled or postponed. The individuals affected were all contacted separately.

Richard has kept busy working on website content, generating short videos uploaded to Facebook, and keeping in touch with people around the world.

Webinars

We have decided to explore using Webinars to stay in touch with RopeLab Members.  So far we have had five and these have all been well attended.  We will not record these but will offer repeats for those who have missed out.

The next two webinars are coming soon: Meet the designers: Alex Bronnaz (Petzl), followed a few weeks later by a RopeLab special on Rope.
Please go to the following page for instructions on how to join.

Note: this link will remain the same for all future webinars including an exciting new “Meet the designer/manufacturer” series.  We are still finalising the details of this series but we already have representatives from DMM, Petzl, Anthron/Skylotec, CMC Rescue, Edelrid, and others lined up to talk about their craft.

RopeLab Online Members' Content

Two new reports have been added to the RopeLab Online Members' Content in the last few months.  We hope you find them useful and interesting.

As a RopeLab Online Member, you have the capacity to view the reports, as well as submit comments and questions.  There are 75 member articles on the site that have been generated over the last 5 years, and this list continues to grow. These detail first hand test results and careful physics explanations to help people know and use their rope systems more efficiently.
