JULY NEWSLETTER

CONNECTING ARTS & SUSTAINABILITY IN SCOTLAND

Hello and welcome.

There's lots of great reading for you in this July newsletter, including a new semi-blog from Ben that he describes as "less formal and structured than Ben's Strategy Blogs; more a rag-bag of thoughts and experiences from the last wee while". Plus info on our upcoming Green Tease events and a great proper-blog from one of the embedded artists working on the transnational Cultural Adaptations project.

Enjoy!

Do please send any feedback via email or social media (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn) and, if you feel the urge, use these channels to let us know how things are going for you.

Part comment, part compendium, it will include a range of themes for both arts/culture readers and those interested in climate change and sustainability as well as providing some insights into what Ben's been up to.

How the performing arts world can "build back better"

What do the "transformation of culture", "transformation through culture", the need for a just transition to a low-carbon world and making our performance venues into community-building machines have in common?

They're all themes touched on by Ben and others interviewed for a recent article in The Scotsman by well-known Scottish theatre critic and political commentator, Joyce Macmillan.
