      Stands in Solidarity Against Racism

PSP believes that clean air, clean water, and a clean environment promote health and wellness, and that these are human rights.  

We recognize that our local, state, and federal government have not always honored these rights for all citizens, and that Black communities have been most disproportionately affected.

We stand in solidarity with those who have and continue to raise their voices in the fight for these basic rights, which includes standing up for and speaking out against any systemic and institutional policies that negatively impact the health of our communities.

We pledge to continue to pursue our mission, which includes working for social justice, especially regarding fighting for and maintaining a healthy environment for all, particularly for our most vulnerable.

We understand that it is our responsibility to listen to the voices of those who are marginalized and oppressed and to include them in our actions.  It is our intention to highlight and amplify the diverse voices within our community, and recognize we must do better.

We call for our community leaders and fellow citizens to listen to, support, protect and provide a platform for all Black, Indigenous, and People of Color in our community.
