V2 of the official Carpentries Recommendations for Teaching Workshops Online is now live!
The Carpentries evolving list of recommendations for teaching workshops online has been updated with more information and recommendations including, how to use the technology, communication norms, how to arrange windows on a single, small laptop screen, and more. Read the recommendations here

Member Organisation Council Meetings: Week of 17 August
There will be a set of Member Organisation Council Meetings held the week of August 17th, 2020. Visit the etherpad for details and to sign up.

Call for Applications: OWSD-Elsevier Foundation Awards for early career women scientists from the developing world
The call for applications for 2021 OWSD-Elsevier Foundation Awards is now open.

These awards reward and encourage women working and living in eligible developing countries who are in the early stages of their scientific careers, having often overcome great challenges to achieve research excellence. Awardees must have made a demonstrable impact on the research environment and must have received their PhD in the last ten years. The Global Wordnet Association is pleased to announce that the 11th International Global Wordnet Conference (GWC2021) will be held from 18 to 21 January 2021 in Pretoria, South Africa.
