Third Sector Monitoring and Evaluation Project: Open for Proposals

An update from Friday's posting:

Falkirk Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) is advertising a “Third Sector Monitoring and Evaluation Project” contract to support third sector organisations evidence how their contribution is having an impact on the wellbeing of Falkirk’s residents. There will also be a specific evaluation of the impact of the sector’s COVID-19 response within the work.

The project has a value of £30,000 on a self-employed basis, with flexible hours. The project will be delivered between Monday 17th August 2020 – Thursday 15th April 2021. (It may be possible to undertake the work on an employed basis.)

The project will be based in CVS Falkirk and is responsible to the CEO, working closely with community-led initiatives that work in support of the Partnership’s strategic plan.

This is an exciting and unique opportunity to develop and innovate in a cross-sector collaborative environment.

The HSCP wants to learn from the experiences of COVID-19, and to build on this momentum to change their relationship with local communities going forward. This will further develop resilience and capacity within communities to address issues alongside public sector colleagues and support individuals through difficult life experiences, as during the pandemic.

Successful applications will demonstrate an expertise in data analysis, knowledge of monitoring and outcomes focused evaluation methods. The project will work with third sector organisations and the wider partnership to develop and evidence a theory of change. This work will also enable third sector organisations to present their data in a credible way.

Please note that we stopped recruitment in March for a similar role which has now been redesigned into this project as a result of Covid-19 activities.  Previous applications for that role will not automatically be considered for this project. All applicants for this project must apply as per the project brief.

The closing date for submissions is 5pm on Sunday 2nd August.
