Some updates on nothing whatsoever

Friends —

As you may have noticed, we’ve had a number of guest hosts on the Do Nothing Project recently. This is part of our mission to democratize mental health by offering a forum for new voices (of varying depths of experience) to be honest about their humanness, and guide others anyway. Why? Happy you asked! Because there’s no such thing as the perfect teacher or guide, in fact that whole notion is childish and disempowering. Not that I have an opinion about it.

Thus, for the next couple months – and perhaps longer, to the end of internet time and onward to the Elysian fields of true anarchic community nothing-hood – the Do Nothing Project will sometimes be guest-led. I will be there when I can, drooling onto my shirt and two-finger typing with excruciating slowness in the chat area.

This Sunday, July 26th, our guest host will be my manager and friend, Lilli Weisz. It’ll be a minimal practice around the topic of letting go of expectations and moving forward in the face of uncertainty. In short …it’ll abide with what you come to expect, a variation on … nothing whatsoever.

Hopefully see you this Sunday, 8:00 pm ET, right here.
