Event Registration Is Open!

Choose From More Than 5,000 Events to Build Your Schedule

Register now for Gen Con Online events! There are currently more than 5,000 ticketed events in the Event Catalog, at all hours of the day and in several languages. Events are still coming in and are being reviewed as quickly as possible. Check back often to see the latest event offerings. Need tips on searching events? We've got a How to Find Events page with tips as well as links to download the full event list as an Excel file if you'd prefer to sort manually.

You must have a free Gen Con Online badge in order to participate in events.
All events are in Eastern time zone. Set your alarms accordingly!
Every event lists the platform(s) that the event will be taking place on (Zoom, Twitch, Roll20, Discord, etc.), so you know what you will need and how you’ll be participating.
Once you purchase yourself a ticket, it will show up in the My Schedule section of your account home page (click on your name in the upper right corner of the screen while signed in to reach your home page).

All event tickets will be electronic, and most will cost a base price of $2 per event, with some organizers charging more to cover their associated costs. A portion of the base price of every ticket sold will be donated to I Need Diverse Games!

Gen Con Online Zoom Backgrounds

Costume Contest Submissions Due July 15

Submissions for the 35th annual Gen Con Costume Contest are open until July 15. Finalists will be selected by our judges and announced just before Gen Con Online begins. During the convention, attendees will vote on their favorite costume to win Best of Show, and we'll announce the winner on Sunday, August 2! Finalists and winners will receive free badges to Gen Con 2021 and prize packs of official Gen Con merchandise.

While you're getting your costume ready, check out the YouTube video of last year's Costume Contest for inspiration! And whether you're entering the contest, or just love to cosplay, share your costume on Twitter or Instagram using #genconcc2020 and you might get featured on our cosplay tagboard (coming soon).
