Hello, friends.

If you got an email that looks like it’s from me asking for “gift cards for cancer patients,” it’s a scam - it is not from me. Please know that I will never ask you for money or items in that manner - a request will always come in official PHPC correspondence through the Mission Committee, etc., or through our PHPC giving campaign.

Additionally, check the email address on these suspicious emails - it may look like our
pleasanthillpc.org address but will usually be from gmail or yahoo or another widely-used domain. This one, for example, came from katie.pleasanthillpc@gmail.com. In these trying times, please stay vigilant and aware of email scams and phone scams - if something feels suspicious, check it out before responding - contact the sender by phone if you know them personally. Blessings on your week!

Peace,
Pastor Katie Day
