Welcome to Term 3!
We have had the most exciting past 5 weeks welcoming students back into the studio. The energy and enthusiasm is simply beautiful and we can't wait to have everyone back next week.
Term 3 will run according to our Term 1 schedule with some minor changes.

Classes will now finish 5 minutes early to allow time for cleaning between classes. This will apply to all classes except Ready Set Dance, Ready Set Ballet, Kindy Jazz and Kindy Ballet.
However, there have been some changes to the start times of the following RSD, RSB and Kindy classes :
Ready Set Ballet Saturday Level 2 - Miss Evon’s Class
will now start at 9:05am until 9:35am
Ready Set Dance Saturday Level 2 - Miss Emily’s Class
will now start at 8:50am until 9:50am
Ready Set Ballet Saturday Level 2 - Miss Emily’s Class
will now start at 9:55am until 10:25am
Ready Set Dance Saturday Level 2 - Miss Nina’s Class
will now start at 10:25am until 11:25am
Kindy Jazz Monday will now start at 3:55pm until 4:40pm
Kindy Ballet Saturday will now start at 9:40am until 10:25am
Kindy Jazz Saturday remains at 10:30am-11:15am
Please also note some studio changes on a Monday and Wednesday in order to adhere to our one per 4m2 social distancing.
Please ensure you are up to date with our new COVID Safe plan. It is essential that all parents, students and staff respect our policies, not only for the safety of everyone, but to avoid the school being fined for improper practice. We trust that parents will discuss the need for social distancing with their children.
A few important things to note
Where possible, students must arrive dressed and ready for class. We encourage students to change in the car or to wear their leotard underneath their school uniform to allow for quick changing at the studio. Only 2 people are allowed in each change room at a time.
Please bring minimal belongings with you; dance shoes and a drink bottle is all that’s needed. School bags can be placed on top of the studio shelves to avoid students having to enter the change rooms.
Hip Hop Students - if possible, please do not wear your outside shoes into the dance studio, please bring shoes to change into.
Please do not arrive more than 5 minutes before class start time.
All students will need to sanitise hands before entering the main studio doors and wash their hands before class.
No parents or siblings are allowed into the studios except for one guardian per pre school student. All visitors who are not students or staff MUST sign our register. There will be a staff member at the front door to help students to their class.
Students must stand on a pink social distancing dot at all times when in the studio.
We appreciate your punctuality when collecting your child. Students can be collected at our new EXIT door directly to the left upon exiting the lifts. Please adhere to social distancing when waiting for your child and avoiding gathering at the door or in the hallways.
And most important……
Do not enter the studios with any flu like symptoms including sore throat, runny nose, cough, fever, headache. If your child has any of these symptoms, please keep them home and get them tested. We will happily offer a make up class for when they are healthy again.
We would also like to enforce that ANY students who have travelled or been in contact with anyone who has travelled to Victoria or a NSW Covid hotspot within the past two weeks, to self isolate for 14 days before returning to the studio.
Your care and concern will help to ensure the health and safety of everyone.
We will begin working towards our end of year concerts from the start of Term 3. While we are not yet sure exactly what our concerts will look like, we remain hopeful that we can still put something fabulous in place, so please keep holding the dates:
November 8th: K-12 rehearsals
November 22nd: K-12 concerts
December 6th : Pre School concert
December 8th and 10th - The Little Mermaid - JF Theatre Co.
All Term 3 invoices will be sent out by the end of this week. We have not yet charged for any concert costumes due to the uncertainty around concerts. We appreciate your prompt payment of your fees, thank you.
