You may have heard via the media that dancing is permitted from 25th July .
I am sure you are eager to return . However there are some legislation I have to consider.
I have contacted most of my halls. - I am waiting for word that they are reopening.
That they are Corona Ready,
They have enough ventilation .
Stairs and Banisters is an issue in some places.
They have opening windows etc.
Also there has to be spacing marked on the dance floor.
2 meters each way. -plus 1 metre for yourself and also for movement to allow for mistakes.
That is 5 square metres at this time. Every day rules are changing.
I just want to assure you that I will only be returning when it is safe to do so.
Not just for yourself but also for your family and friends you may meet.
I have to have everyone's details- If 1 person has symptoms of Corona it means the whole of Fancy Feet has to isolate for 14 days -whether you attended the same class or not.
I really do not want to close down again.
When everything is confirmed and guidelines put into place I will be having a series of meetings, drop in sessions .
Your wellbeing and enjoyment are my main concern .
Classes will be different - as numbers will be reduced -
There will be a pre -booking system in place and some classes will remain on Line during the change over.
At the moment however I am shielding until 1st August as are many of you.
Another peak is expected too though life is going to carry on as normal as possible .
The consensus amongst my Line Dance Instructor friends is probably around the beginning of September .
Many of you I am sure would like to embrace the fact of having mini breaks, visiting family and friends
and also hugs with Grand children which is a priority over dancing .
Yes this has been a difficult year for me both mentally and financially.
I am not alone in this but the big saying at the moment is Health over Wealth which I fully believe.
