Continuing Children's Conversations at Covenant - We Are Listening!
If you are already a part of our CFM Facebook page, you probably noticed that we started using this group as a forum to discuss questions, struggles or challenges while parenting in the time of COVID. We have been overwhelmed with your responses! We want to keep these good conversations going. With so many unknowns right now, Covenant wants to be a place where you can be heard and receive affirmation that you are not alone!
Join our group HERE and you can follow the conversation. From time to time, other Covenant parents will share their experiences and perhaps provide answers!
This is our final week studying Ephesians 3:18 while our sermon series continues moving through the book and looking at themes of practical Christian living. I hope your family is finding meaningful ways to practice faith formation at home.
Memory Verse Focus: "(I pray that you) may have power together with all the Lord's holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ." Ephesians 3:18
Science Fun/Family Art Activity:
Materials - white crayon, white paper and water color paint
Have each family member write a special love message to someone else in the family with the white crayon on white paper. Give the message to them and then "reveal" it by painting over the paper with water color paint. Or, parents can write a love message to a child and the child can "discover" it by painting over the message.
Conversation starter: When we think about love, it is hard to imagine that God's love is SO big that it's impossible to SEE. What are some ways that you know that God loves you even though you can't "see" Him? Who are the people in your life that show you what God's love looks like?
