The Basics of Creative Problem Solving

Creative problem solving isn’t just brainstorming, although that’s what many people may associate it with. It’s actually a well-defined process that can help you from problem definition to implementing solutions, according to Jeffrey Baumgartner.

Creative ideas do not suddenly appear in people’s minds for no apparent reason. Rather, they are the result of trying to solve a specific problem or to achieve a particular goal. Albert Einstein’s theories of relativity were not sudden inspirations. Rather they were the result of a huge amount of mental problem solving trying to close a discrepancy between the laws of physics and the laws of electromagnetism as they were understood at the time.

The Golden Egg Hunt
Multiple golden eggs have been hidden at each of the Branch Out with Hyde buildings: North Loop (eggs are in The Engine Room), Nordøst Exchange (somewhere on the Patio), Lumber & Mill (outside around building entrances), and Northern Stacks (along the trails).
 
Each egg contains a prize! Open the egg, see what your prize is & email Gretchen to collect it! Take a picture of your eggs and send your photos to Gretchen, and you could win big for your whole office! Happy Hunting!
Hyde has made some great landscaping updates over at Lumber and Mill! It looks beautiful and we can't wait to see all the new plants fill in the space around the buildings. The Minneapolis Elections and Voter Services office has been really busy with early voting. It was buzzing over there.

AND it's FREE for you to use!
