RESOURCES & TRAINING FOR CHILDREN & FAMILIES' LEADERS
Good morning!
I am now moving back to a once a month mailing with resources being supplied for upcoming festivals and news of (online) training. The next few months are going to be challenging for us to navigate-with some churches opening for services, some remaining online, some continuing to serve their local communities with food supplies and considering whether it is possible to run any 'in person' groups for families. Some churches are thinking about how they move outside, particularly for services which include young families-check out the ideas under outside resources and books.
Guidance for working with Children,Young People & Families from the Church of England released 16 July 2020

*Time change for Zoom Call for Children and Families' Workers*
I'm hosting a fortnightly one hour meeting for Children and Families' workers using Zoom, but the time has changed! There is a new fortnightly pattern of alternate Mondays at 2pm and Thursdays at 2.30pm for one hour. The next scheduled meetings are Thursday 30 July and Monday 10 August. If you want to join the meeting, you will need to sign up to Zoom (free) at: https://zoom.us/signup  and then send me your email address so I can invite you. Come with any questions and ideas you have and hear from other children's and families' workers about their innovative ways of staying in touch with their families in church.

Family Way of Life
You may be aware that we have a Way of Life in Ely Diocese. The Family Way of Life has been rewritten specifically for Coronavirus lockdown times and all sessions are based on the concept of 'Being'. Activities are designed for families with children of different ages to select how they want to explore the theme.
All
Family Way of Life sessions
One church is intending to use it alongside the book of Philippians they will study in small groups as it corresponds well to the main themes in each chapter. I have added an additional session to dovetail more closely-information listed with the Family Way of Life sessions. The extra session is available here:
