JOIN US FOR THE SALEM VIRTUAL ART FAIR,
JULY 18-19
Salem Art Association has produced an online interactive interface to showcase the work of 126 artists working in 14 different media. Visitors can join us on their phone, iPad or laptop by going to SalemArt.org and clicking on the portal to enter the Virtual Art Fair.

Salem Art Association’s VIRTUAL ART FAIR 2020 begins this Saturday, July 18, at 9am, and continues until Sunday, July 19, at 9pm. What a great opportunity to support the arts in your community! Go to SalemArt.org

This year, nearly every single major fair has been cancelled across the country, devastating the art fair community. In response, we are bringing you to the artists! Take your time viewing all the incredible artwork in both the Art Fair tents and in the Bush Barn Art Center, or see the artists demonstrate their process in the Demo Area. As you make your way through the booths, click through to your favorite artist’s personal website and purchase that artwork that caught your eye! Help us support these artists during this very hard time.

In addition, we have some wonderful entertainment on the Community Stage. We are especially excited to feature Kristen Grainger and True North, and Rich McCloud, as well as performances brought to you by CET and through the video work of CCTV, as well as readings by The Mid-Valley Poetry Society. Kids and the young at heart can visit Kids’ Court and enjoy the fun activities offered there. Something for everyone at Salem’s first ever Virtual Art Fair!

By creating this venue for the artists to interact virtually with an even wider audience than our usual 35,000 visitors, Salem Art Association continues to be a vital support for the arts and artists. The Salem Virtual Art Fair breaks new ground on July 18 and 19 in a unique and safe way, giving new meaning to this time-honored community tradition.

It’s a celebration of community, resilience, and above all, a love of the creative spirit.
