MASTERING THE MARINA

Pandy Harmon started working for the City of Gulfport seven years ago as a part-time Marina Assistant. After just one year, she was promoted to the full-time position of Marina Clerk in the Harbor Master’s office. She came to the City with many qualifications and skills, which included office management and field technician work in the gaming industry. She has gained a plethora of boating knowledge during her tenure, but a larger portion comes from her boating background prior to joining the City team. Pandy is a licensed USCG Captain and was once a full-time charter captain. The vessels that have been under her command include a 19’ Carolina Skiff, a 44’ Resmondo, and a 50’ Striker Sportfish.

“Pandy is a vital team member that is always present with a smile and a positive personality. She plays a major role in the day-to-day operations of the Harbor and through her knowledge of the boating world, she really makes it one of the best around.” –Gus Wesson, Director, Department of Leisure Services

NO 2020 SEASON
Due to the uncertainty of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Gulfport Department of Leisure Services has made the decision to cancel pee wee, flag, tackle and adult flag football programs for the 2020 season. The health and safety of the participants, volunteers, staff and community are the top priority. They look forward to offering fall/spring programming, which will be contingent upon the status of the COVID-19 pandemic.
