2020-21 school nutrition programs application now open
The 2020-21 school year school nutrition programs application is now open. Reference the application instructions on the How to Apply webpage for more details about how to complete the application in the Colorado Nutrition Portal. Applications are due at the end of September and can take up to three weeks to approve.

Complete additional information in the P-EBT Collection Form via SmartSheet. P-EBT main contacts will receive an automated update request from SmartSheet. Please complete this information by July 20.
The Oral Health Unit at the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment is providing oral health kits for children since access to preventive oral health services has been limited during COVID-19. Please take this online survey to help us understand local needs and interest in participating. The survey should take less than five minutes. Thank you for taking the time to respond.

Register for the School Nutrition Back-to-School webinar
Register for the School Nutrition Back-to-School webinar at 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 23. School Food Authorities will learn about the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Program rules and regulations, including the recently released U.S. Department of Agriculture flexibilities due to COVID-19. Submit any questions in advance of the webinar using this online form. Participants will receive professional standards training credit for attending the webinar. If you do not receive a confirmation email after registering, please work with your IT department to add admin@adobeconnect.com to your safe sender's list.
The Back-to-School Planning FAQs (PDF) include answers to questions submitted by sponsors during webinars, sharing calls and emails. The FAQ includes information related to school food service operations in the 2020-21 school year and will be updated on a regular basis as School Nutrition receives new questions.
Program sponsors are invited to complete a training by Dairy Max that showcases alternative meal service options, equipment needs and resources for the upcoming school year.
The Food Research & Action Center invites child nutrition professionals and community sponsors to join its upcoming webinar to ensure access to nutritious meals.

Many students will likely eat at their desks in the 2020-21 school year, which is why the brand-new Dining Guide for School Meals in the Classroom was created. This is a series of easy-to-customize templates that sponsors can adapt and share to educate various stakeholder groups, from administrators and teachers to custodians and support staff.
