1.  "Featured Product" - HO Brick Wall Panel kits
“Configurable by Design”... One of the hallmarks of ITLA Scale Models products ...

Many of our kits feature the ability to adjust the structure's shape to fit a particular location on your layout and create your own signature structure.

They can also be expanded in size using additional modular "Brick Wall Panel" kits.

For those modelers who love to "kitbash" and create something unique for their layouts, these modular kits can fuel the fire.

As an example, Dave Ross built a custom "wedge shaped" structure measuring 9"L x 1.5" ~ 4.5"W.

He took advantage of our "3D" laser etched wall surfaces, and even added more detail by applying a thin layer of drywall compound to create the look of flaking concrete over brick.

Roof details such as HVAC conduits, vents, chimney, steps, walkout and pallets are from our ITLA detail kits.

We offer these Brick Wall Panels as "Modular Kits" which include our quality cut Windows, Doors, Pilasters and multi layered Cornice parts. These wall panels will connect to each other using our ITLA "Tab & Slot" system.

Read Dave's full article describing his inspiration for this structure and his kitbashing techniques on our website HERE.

Thank you Dave for your inspiration, imagination and innovation!

NOTE: We will be providing similar modular wall kits in N and O scales in the future.

2.  "On the Bench"
For the N scalers ...
Summer weather is here, and outdoor activities take some priority but we are continuing to work on the N scale Allstate Factory kit and are making great progress.

As shared in our last newsletter, one key feature we've incorporated into this N scale kit is ...
  • CONFIGURABLE walls!  (You'll have more than 12 choices of structural footprints - fully walled to angular to shallow relief or flat options)
Pictured below are some examples of structural footprints we've been testing with a single prototype kit's components.

Please note that these are unglued mock ups ... we're test fitting some wall combinations and still need to add pilasters, cornice, roof, signs, brick toning / mortar / weathering.

This "dry fit & unglued mock up" process is exactly what we encourage our customers to do leveraging our ITLA kit "configurability" in all scales...
We've added details to (backdrop) rear walls to make this kit extremely versatile ... any unused wall panels can be re-used as additional shallow relief or flat walls... huge value in this kit!

More to come on this new kit as we continue its development.

New Multi-Scale HVAC Ducting and Piping kits ...  we're finalizing the development of our multiple scale HVAC Ducting & Piping kits, with mounting brackets and flanges.  The versatility of these kits will enable you to use them in both roof top and wall applications.

Our goal is to provide kits in a variety of sizes for use in N, HO, S and O scales. Watch our newsletter for more on this unique line of industrial details.

3.  "Modeller's Corner"
As always, we love to share our customer's ITLA product build experience with you.

A) Dennis Murphy of Seattle WA has built our kits in N & HO scales, with published review articles in many magazines, and created informative videos on the You Tube platform.

He recently completed a build of our Reinforced Concrete Industrial Wall Modules while putting together an entertaining video with his tips and techniques.  We've linked that video from our website
Please have a look HERE.

Thank you Dennis for your creativity and support!

B) David R. Scott of Nanaimo BC reached out to us while developing his plans to build some of our Elevated Railway System and Industrial Wall Modules for his layout.

While envisioning the structure shapes and placement on his layout, he used his incredible software skills to create his own scale sized printable templates of our Industrial Wall Modules.

David graciously offered to develop these printable templates for us in both N & HO scales.

So to help you envision your next project using our Reinforced Concrete Industrial Wall Modules, we are happy to offer these scale sized printable templates as FREE DOWNLOADS from our website.
