In this class students will learn the fundamental tools necessary for improv.

They will learn the benefits of working as an ensemble by building skills in collaboration, support, listening and saying yes to the possibilities of anything.

I've been keeping busy and creative during this lock down by making silly short videos and playing the banjo. Both are new to me. Been having some fun doing it and probably would have never explored this creative outlet if it wasn't for Covid. So I'm trying to see some kind of silver lining here. Even though it's very hard to do sometimes. Part of me feels like now is the time to explore new things. Whatever that means to you. But responsibly and safely of course. Thank you to Second Beat for letting me do this.

Salmon Shane

Cast: Sam Haldiman and Shane Shannon

These two have been performing together for more than seven years. Their improv style is based heavily on the straight/absurd dynamic in the most unconventional way. They are always pushing the envelope on grounding their characters' worlds with the most ridiculous points of views.

Featured Performer: Brian Ress

PromoMania is mix of ideas, but at its core it’s a fake wrestling federation where people create their own wrestlers and cut promos on each other. I did a live wrestling show a few years back with a similar premise, however I added the idea of writing out the match play-by-play for the results to give a little more depth to the fake federation, I got this idea from doing similar write ups when I was younger for e-feds (or interesting wrestling). I just wanted to provide a way for people to continue to be creative in a different way. I figured this could be a good outlet and a nice distraction.
