Why are you the best readers? Because this month I was blown away both by your generosity and the ways you supported my writing. The book launch raised over $400 for the Sonia Plotnick Health Fund! What fun to use Zoom and interact with folks from across the globe in addition to my loyal local fans.

Talking with everyone through Zoom was so delightful that I'm inviting you to join me on May 9th, 2pm EST (11am PST, 7pm UK time) for a discussion of Before She Left. At the launch Phyllis and I had to be careful not to give away any of the plot, but this time around I can let you in on plotlines that got discarded, how I formulate ideas and answer more questions. I'm in awe of ways readers have reached out this month to thank me for my writing. The best way you can let me know you enjoyed my book is to write a review for Amazon and Goodreads. Posting on your social media accounts is fantastic too. A couple of you posted your recommendations of Before She Left on Facebook and I saw an immediate spike in sales that day. Thank you!
The personal touch means a lot too. I received a number of unexpected emails this month, including this one yesterday.
"I met you a few years back at a woman’s conference in St. Pete. I bought Devoted and you signed it for me. I like mysteries and figured I might read it one day. I found it yesterday and now isolated I decided to read it. I thought it was very, very good...I plan on ordering more of your books and telling my friends how I have enjoyed Devoted."
