Hi Coaches,

We have now received detailed guidelines for sport from Sport NZ. The guidelines state that “Personal trainers should continue to work from home and use online and video conferencing facilities to deliver their training”. This is obviously not the outcome we were hoping for in regard to coaching but are pleased that some tennis activity can be played under strict conditions. The Tennis NZ team are working on updating the Tennis Activity levels page on tennis.kiwi so keep an eye out for further developments online and through Facebook.

You’ll all be aware that we move out of Level 4 at 11:59pm on Monday 27 April and we will keep you updated throughout. We hope for a more positive update in relation to how long NZ will be in Level 3 so that coaching can recommence.

Whilst we are disappointed for coaches, it is not our decision to make and we respect the decision that The Ministry of Health has made to protect the community.
